Les r\u00e9actions dans le blanchisseur se produisent dans des conditions de vide pouss\u00e9 et de temp\u00e9rature \u00e9lev\u00e9e. L&#039;huile est pomp\u00e9e dans le blanchisseur \u00e0 travers l&#039;\u00e9changeur de chaleur r\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9ratif. La terre d\u00e9colorante est dos\u00e9e dans le blanchisseur et m\u00e9lang\u00e9e intensivement pendant une dur\u00e9e d\u00e9termin\u00e9e.<\/p><p>Apr\u00e8s le blanchiment, l&#039;huile est pomp\u00e9e dans un filtre \u00e0 pression verticale, o\u00f9 la terre d\u00e9colorante est retenue puis s\u00e9ch\u00e9e. Le filtre \u00e0 feuilles sous pression lib\u00e8re alors de l&#039;huile blanchie et de la terre d\u00e9colorante tombe \u00e0 des intervalles blanchiment, l&#039;adsorption se produit via de nombreux m\u00e9canismes diff\u00e9rents impliquant diverses interactions physiques et chimiques; la plupart d&#039;entre eux am\u00e9liorent la qualit\u00e9 de l&#039;huile, mais certains d&#039;entre eux peuvent la r\u00e9duire . Ces m\u00e9canismes comprennent les \u00e9l\u00e9ments suivants\u00a0:<\/p><p>Adsorption \u2500 m\u00e9canisme par lequel le sorbant se lie \u00e0 un contaminant. Cela peut se produire de trois mani\u00e8res diff\u00e9rentes :<\/p><p>Physiquement par attraction de surface impliquant les forces de van der Waals.<br \/>Chimiquement par \u00ab chimisorption \u00bb par liaison \u00e9lectrochimique \u00e0 la surface de l&#039;argile.<br \/>Par des tamis mol\u00e9culaires qui pi\u00e8gent les contaminants sous pression \u00e0 l&#039;int\u00e9rieur des pores de l&#039;argile lors de la filtration.<\/p><p>Absorption \u2500 m\u00e9canisme par lequel les pores intra-granulaires sont remplis de fluide - principalement de l&#039;huile - et \u00e0 leur tour de tout contaminant qui l&#039;accompagne. La r\u00e9tention d&#039;huile est signal\u00e9e de deux mani\u00e8res : en tant que perte de poids par extraction au Soxhlet (avec l&#039;hexane comme solvant) et en tant que mati\u00e8re organique totale d\u00e9termin\u00e9e par l&#039;incin\u00e9ration.<\/p><p>La r\u00e9tention totale d&#039;huile d\u00e9pend d&#039;un certain nombre de variables, notamment les niveaux de dosage de l&#039;argile, les caract\u00e9ristiques de l&#039;argile (par exemple, la distribution granulom\u00e9trique et le type de min\u00e9ral), la perm\u00e9abilit\u00e9 du lit filtrant, la qualit\u00e9 de la charge d&#039;alimentation entrante, la propret\u00e9 du tamis du filtre et les conditions utilis\u00e9es pour purger le filtre avant l&#039;\u00e9limination du g\u00e2teau de filtration &quot;us\u00e9&quot;. Une r\u00e9tention d&#039;huile excessive augmente le co\u00fbt de fonctionnement du proc\u00e9d\u00e9 ; la perte d&#039;huile \u00e0 travers la terre \u00e9puis\u00e9e peut typiquement aller jusqu&#039;\u00e0 35 % en poids d&#039;extraction par solvant et 50 % en poids pour la mati\u00e8re organique totale de la terre utilis\u00e9e.<\/p><p>Filtration \u2500 m\u00e9canisme de pi\u00e9geage ou d&#039;\u00e9limination physique des contaminants en suspension\u00a0: l&#039;acte physique de filtrage de l&#039;argile en suspension qui \u00e9limine simultan\u00e9ment les contaminants mineurs adsorb\u00e9s sur les particules d&#039;argile. Les filtres utilis\u00e9s dans le processus de blanchiment comprennent le filtre \u00e0 feuilles \u00e0 pression verticale ou le filtre \u00e0 feuilles \u00e0 pression horizontale) et les filtres de polissage (sac, cartouche, papier).<\/p><p>Catalyse \u2500 m\u00e9canisme par lequel les contaminants sont d\u00e9grad\u00e9s par interaction avec la surface de l&#039;argile. En cas de fixation de la couleur, la couleur rouge est plus difficile \u00e0 \u00e9liminer par les argiles d\u00e9colorantes seules et r\u00e9siste \u00e0 la d\u00e9gradation thermique conduisant \u00e0 une couleur rouge plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e apr\u00e8s
